BOTOX® Cosmetic / DYSPORT® Injections
Facial wrinkles and lines typically appear every time you laugh, smile, or frown, and as you age, these creases remain visible. BOTOX® Cosmetic or DYSPORT®, can diminish the appearance of furrows in the brow; worry or frown lines; crow's feet; and other wrinkles.
BOTOX® Cosmetic or DYSPORT® works by relaxing the muscles that cause lines so they do not contract. Dr. Young injects BOTOX® Cosmetic or DYSPORT® into problem areas, smoothing out wrinkles. Results are typically seen after three to four days, and usually last for three and a half to four months. After a BOTOX® Cosmetic or DYSPORT® treatment, the skin will appear much smoother.
Most of our patients notice the full effects of BOTOX® Cosmetic or DYSPORT® treatment after about three to four days, but it can take up to 2 weeks to see the full effect. In the meanwhile, you can return to work immediately, although you should avoid massaging the area or exercising for 24 hours.
